• Paul Lessard | Senior Pastor

  Prior to serving Castle Oaks as Senior Pastor, Paul was a university administrator. His background includes serving as a bible college president and instructor for 15 years. He has also served as a worship pastor for churches in Canada, Colorado and Texas. Paul and his wife Rebecca have two children - a daughter, married and living in Canada, and a son, who is a university student in Denver. Paul enjoys music, fishing and hiking. 

   

   

   

   

   

   

• Robin Schween | Worship Director

  Robin Schween is a Colorado native who recently moved back into the area after living the previous eight years in Seattle, Washington.  Robin has been leading worship in various Covenant churches in either a full-time or part-time capacity since 2004.  Aside from running the Castle Oaks worship ministry, Robin  works as an Analyst for National Valuation Consultants.  Robin is passionate about finding new ways to use various forms of music and visual arts to minister and reach-out to the unsaved and younger generations while consistently integrating the traditional foundations of our faith.  Outside of work, Robin enjoys spending time with his family - Heidi (wife), Tyson (age 2) and Jersey (born December 2010) -  playing soccer, tennis and golf, hiking, biking and camping or basically anything outdoors.  As a true Seattlite, you'll also never find him passing on a good cup of coffee.

   

   

   

• Kimberly Spead | Communications Director

  Kimberly Spead received her degree in media and fine arts with a minor in public relations from Westminster College. She has taught art in the states as well as abroad and continues to look for inspiring outlets! She heads up the creative end of things and oversees marketing and advertising for Castle Oaks.  Kim moved from the east coast, trading the ocean for the mountains. She enjoys traveling with her husband and daughter, drinking a great cup of tea and finding new places to hike.

   

    

   

   

   

   

• Nathan Hartz | Youth Pastor

  Nathan Hartz has been involved in youth ministry for 14 years. He and his
 wife Susanna served with Campus Crusade for Christ's high school
 ministry called Student Venture. He is the father of three children
. They reside in Castle Rock where Nathan Coaches Cross Country and Track and 
Field at Castle View High School. Nathan enjoys exploring 4wd roads

• Debbie Vair | Children's Ministry Director

  Debbie has served in Children's Ministry in various ways over the years. She also brings many years of professional administrative, customer service, and project coordination experience.
  As our Director of Children's Ministry, the Lord has given her a desire to serve children and families, and a strong sense of the sacred privilege and opportunity we have in teaching and leading our children toward following Jesus.
  Debbie and her husband, Scott, live in Castle Rock with their three children. They love the Colorado mountains, watching their children play sports and dance, and sharing their home with friends. 

   

   

    

   

   

   

• Cindy Veith | Office Manager

  Cindy was raised in the Covenant Church (Leyden, 1st Covenant Denver and Centennial) and was part of the original church planting of Castle Oaks. She ran the financial side of their family business for 16 years and is happy serving as the office administrator now at Castle Oaks.  She and her husband are the proud parents of 2 grown sons, both serving in the US Army.  They have a lovely daughter-in-law and are now proud grandparents as well.

   

   

   

   

   

   

   

• Brad Mann | Outreach Director

  Brad has been involved in pastoral ministry since 1985; serving in such roles as youth pastor, senior pastor, church planter, and interim pastor. Prior to coming to Castle Oaks, Brad and his wife Kelly planted a Covenant church in Springfield, MO. Brad is currently bi-vocational- leading the outreach ministry at Castle Oaks as well as teaching mathematics at Manuel High School in Denver.
  
  Brad loves people, “I want to take people at whatever heart-state they are at and move them one step closer to Jesus.”

   

   

   

• Brian Blacklock | Young Adults Director

  Brian runs the Castle Rock Young Adults Ministry know as, 30 Below.  He graduated with a BA in Communications and Sociology from the University of Colorado at Denver and he is currently attending Denver Seminary, working on his MA in Leadership. Brian has an extensive youth ministry background and has served with several churches, Young Life, and various camps in Texas, New York and Colorado. He and his wife Abby love working with young adults and helping them mature in their personal walk with Christ. In his spare time, Brian enjoys exploring the Colorado mountains via 4wd, hiking, backpacking, cycling, and backcountry skiing.

   

   

   

  
  

• Steve Roloff | Pastor- Broken Tree Community

  Steve Roloff comes to us from St. Louis, Missouri, and is called to plant a church for the disabled community and their families in the Denver metropolitan area called Broken Tree Community Church.  Steve earned a Liberal Arts Degree from William Jewell College in Kansas City, Missouri.  April 29, 1995 Steve married his best friend Jill, and they now have two wonderful, healthy boys, Dylan and Colby. Dylan plays football and is into filmmaking, while Colby likes rock climbing. For the past sixteen years Steve has worked as a construction superintendent in the family home building business, Roloff Development Company. In June, 2009 Steve was hired by the Berean Church Fellowship as a church planter. Castle Oaks has agreed to partner up with the Bereans to train Steve for this season while he and Jill plant this unique church for the disabled because they too have Cerebral Palsy.
