Digging Deeper

Tuesdays, 3-5 pm (1st Tues. dinner till 6p)

with Phil Vaughan - meets @ Castle Oaks

starts September 12 with kickoff dinner

Together we are focused on connecting, spending time, and learning how to follow Jesus every day.

This is a ministry:

  • For individuals with I/DD to focus on their spiritual and relational needs.

  • Where stories are shared.

  • That includes, affirms, celebrates, and enjoys one another.

  • That will explore ways to be more involved in our church family.

  • Where we will seek to be involved in the Castle Rock community.

  • That will serve others.

  • That will value the importance of recreation.

  • That seeks to understand more about God and ourselves.

Contact Phil Vaughan if you’d like to know more or if you or someone you know might like to be part of this amazing group!

Wellspring Community

In addition, we support and collaborate with Wellspring Community, a nonprofit organization with a mission to create a God-centered work and residential community where adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) are empowered to live full, productive and satisfying lives. Wellspring Community is a separate 501(c)3 that operates out of the Castle Oaks Church building. Learn more at: wearewellspring.org

The Castle Rock Collective

WOVEN TOGETHER TO EMPOWER

The Castle Rock Collective is the story of two organizations woven together to empower: Wellspring Community & World Orphans. Wellspring & Co. Coffee employs, empowers, and supports adults with I/DD, as a part of the Wellspring program. The World Orphans Market offers jewelry, clothing, and other hand-crafted items made by women in their empowerment programs around the world. Stop in for coffee, a little shopping, or both! Come and experience this unique partnership. Come and be part of this wonderful opportunity to make a difference — to change lives—locally and globally.

Special Needs Community

Wellspring Community is a local nonprofit that provides educational, enrichment and business enterprise opportunities to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, such that they are empowered to live full, productive and satisfying lives in a God-centered and spiritually-nourishing environment.  To find out more about Wellspring, check out their website: wearewellspring.org
