YouVersion ONLINE 30 Day Reading- 'The Life of David Pt 2 - 2 Samuel'

JOIN HERE: The Life of David Pt2 - 2 Samuel

Books 1 & 2 Samuel tell the stories of three heroes God used to establish a kingdom for His people: Samuel, the revered last judge; Saul, the impressive first king of Israel; and David, the flawed poet-warrior. Beyond the page-turning adventures, battles, and political gamesmanship lies the story of a greater King—the true and forever reigning son of David, Jesus. Join us as we start these stories.

Wednesday Morning Women's Study - Forgotten God

  • Castle Oaks Covenant Church (map)

In the name of the Father, the Son, and ... the Holy Spirit. We pray in the name of all three, but how often do we live with an awareness of only the first two? As Jesus ascended into heaven, He promised to send the Holy Spirit—the Helper—so that we could be true and living witnesses for Christ. Unfortunately, today's church has admired the gift but neglected to open it.

Starting Sept 17th - join us each Wednesday at 10am, as we dive deeper into discovering this amazing gift we have been given.

Sign up HERE and let us know you will be joining us.

Church Prayer - You're Invited!

"Join us in the boiler room!" Huh? Charles Spurgeon, a renowned preacher in the 1800s, was quick to reveal the secret to his powerful Sunday sermons: the unflattering basement room where many of his parishioners remained in prayer every week. We've set aside two times this summer (June 10 and July 8 | 6:30pm - 7:30pm) to center prayers on two key church needs: (1) the pastoral search, and (2) the health and unity of our community of faith during the transition.

We believe that the Spirit guides and responds to the prayers of the saints! And we are eager to pray for you, too. Send your prayer requests or questions to Josh Bleeker: 40fastcars@gmail.com
